I'm pulling my hair out!...and I don't have much to begin with.
No matter what I do my eth0 won't "interface".
I keep getting "FAILED"...
I don't even know if this means the computer doesn't see it or if the DHCP sin't working right.
HELP!...

Do you have network access after boot? If that is the case, it might just be that the nics aren't getting shut down correctly (ie the drivers aren't being uninitialized). It could just be that they aren't being stopped and so don't need to be reinitialized on reboot.
If you are not getting network access, it is most likely because they are configured incorrectly and I would need to know more about your network setup to help you.
