When I installed linux, I had to disable the lpt port to free up an IRQ (IRQ 9 for my ether card). Well, now I want to use it, but I can't juggle my IRQs enough to enable it.. I have an ACER ethernet card that ALWAYS uses IRQ 5 in linux, which is my soundcard IRQ. Therefore, I had to put my sound card on IRQ 7...IRQ 7 was my other ethernet card, so I had to set that to IRQ 9. Now I don't have any left.. Any suggestions?

I CAN'T change the eth0 card (even though in windows I can), and the other card (NE2000) setup program lets me only pick 5, 7, or 9. So I'm kinda stuck with this config..
Can anyone help me sort this out? eth0 is an ACER ALN-201.
