Thanks...that's what I needed...the link. ------------------ D-Termind 2 Leave Win-DUHs Evil Jeff 11-22-2000, 07:23 AM From what I understand, reiserfs is a file system with an index... ie, it has a database that tells it where every file is on the system that is regularly updated (every time a file is moved or changed). From my *limited* experience, reiserfs is much faster and quite stable. I have had no problems, even video loads faster and with less cpu usage than ext2. But that is an uninformed opinion...
