Debian specific boards?

Just wondering if there are there any Debian specific discussion boards on the net? Cheers.

There are, but the smartest Linux community I've ever seen is the Debian-user mailing list.

You should be able to just e-mail "debian-user-request@lists.debian.org" with "subscribe" as the subject, or you can subscribe at http://lists.debia.org/

It's somewhat high-volume, and you need to be sure to RTFM before asking a question there to avoid rampant flamage, but I don't think you'll find a more clueful group of people anywhere.

I subscribed to many of those last night. After seeing how much mail I got in just those few hours, I expect to see at least 50 mails tonight when I get home.

Ok maybe it is just me but this link takes me to the olsentwins site. Kinda gross thing to do this early in the morning.

You could also try Debian Planet (http://www.debianplanet.org/) They have good news and they used to have a bbs system, but im not sure if they still do.

Debian Help (http://www.debianhelp.org) Has some boards... it seems like they are slanted more to help forums where Debian Planet is now more for news and discussion. The forums aren't heavily traffic'd so you may not get much better support than here, although it would be nice to see more people there.
