completely new but simple(?) question about kmail

yo,

using drake 8.1 and everything instaled smooth - will bother about correct drivers later as standard works fine but:

anyone know the correct settings in Kmail for freeserve smtp.

incoming mail fine, web fine, kit fine, but some days kmail will send mail and others not.

i have it set to smtp.freeserve.com:25
am i using the right port? or is it something to do with dynamic ip's?

thick question i know, but after years of horrid effing windows i got used to it working as per freeseves instructions.

can't find any help regarging ports needed etc on freeserve (what a surprise)!

any ideas appreciated.

If kmail will sometimes send mail, then the setup is fine. It is more likely to be a problem with Freeserve's mail servers. If it happens again, note any error messages, and post them.
