NIC configuration

i cant figure out how to configure my NIC. When I installed RH, it probed for hardware and said that it couldn't find the NIC. I have a 3com 905BTX installed.
specs are as follows:

RH 7.0
GNOME 1.2

also, can u tell me how to adjust the display resolution to something other than HUGE.

1) do this command:
ifconfig -a
if you see your NIC there, then skip the next part
if you DONT see your NIC: You almost definatly forgot to install the driver into your kernel, basicly you gotta recompile your kernel, then it should work.

if you DO see, read ifconfig's man page to figure it out
