Hi all ~

I am looking for suggestions for books that don't have OS install CDs (I already installed SuSE Professional 8.0) but will be able to guide me to a decent level of skill, especially on the command line. I grew up on DOS & I like the power of the prompt. A book that is too distribution specific or goes into StarOffice etc. is not what I'm looking for (but if I have to concentrate on a distro, obviously I would want a SuSE-centric book)

Thanks,

Chris Forzetting

I use O'Reilly's _Running Linux_ and _Linux in a Nutshell_. Those and the LDP's howtos is all you need.
