hi,
I want to add a program in my start menu.(for example "KArchiver" in Applications -> Archiving -> Compression. How can I do it?

Are you using KDE? Then figure out what directory the program is in, then go to Configuration->KDE->Menudrake. Menudrake will allow you to make a new entry, or modify an existing entry, under any menu "chain" in KDE.
