Hi, I tried to install a limewire binary and I followed their link and installed the Java runtime. Later I upgraded GCC to 3.04. I noticed that that new GCC package seemed to contain Jave elements. Would that work like the runtime?

Anyway the error I get is "Unrecognized JMV specific option -Xmx50331648
Unrecognized JVM specific option -Xms16777216
Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This Application will now exit.

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

dave

You need an actual JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed. Grab one from Sun. Blackdown, or IBM. Probably the Sun one (java.sun.com) would be the easiest to get. Search for jre (around version 1.3 or higher should be good).
