StarOffice is no longer free.
Try OpenOffice 1.0 (http://www.openoffice.org) instead. It's free and just about the same as SO. They just don't include the 3rd party componments that Sun has to pay a license fee for and thus needs to change for their version.

is it possible to rip the install package from a free distro of linux??? i belive they will be shipping star office with linux distro's???
