Linux and Exchange email

I am thinking of putting linux on my work pc to test it out, but i have a question. We use Exchange server and Outlook for our email, is there a program I can use to connect to the exchange server so that I can get me email?

Sure there is. I grab my e-mail from an Exchange server myself using fetchmail, and then read it using mutt.
