ok, i have this user, and i want him to have the same privelages as root, let's call him root2... how do i make him have all the same privelages, and be able to access things?

i tried setting his userid to 0, but that didn't work

Can I ask why you want to do this?
Why not just use root?
Doing things as pseudo-root can be pretty risky... as risky as doing everyday stuff as root.

well if you really want to you can edit you
/etc/passwd file and change the last numbers on your user account to 0 0
