What is IMLIB? Problems Installing Xine

I've taken the recommendations of users on this forum and tried to install Xine, the open-source DVD software for Linux. I successfully un-tarred the tar.gz file, but when I tried to run ./configure, I got the following error:

*** Could not run IMLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means IMLIB was incorrectly installed
*** or that you have moved IMLIB since it was installed. In the latter case, you
*** may want to edit the imlib-config script: /usr/bin/imlib-config


What is IMLIB? How can I fix it?

i think imlib is replacement for xlib, and it's used by Enlightenment WM
you can get it from www.enlightenment.org (http://www.enlightenment.org)
