star office 5.2

i must be a goddamn idiot...but i cant figure out how to install star office for the life of me. I dl'ed the file so-sumtinsumtin-.bin. Now wtf do i do to install. I know i have done this NUMEROUS times in the past. What is wrong with me!!!

I'm not sure if the file has to be executable or not (chmod a+x filename.bin if it does) but as root type ./filename.bin and that should do it.

If you follow the directions on the Star Office website, you'll have no problems.
