I have been trying to install a quicktime viewer while lookin through Freashmeat.net. I stumbled on a program called Plugger. It gives Linux the capability of using many plugins. I have tried to install the program using the RPM, it finishes without errors but when I look for a file *.so I can not find it. What are these types of files? where would I locate them in the directory tree?.
When I try to compile the program it always gives me a problems saying that I'm missing libraries. Which one should I use the RPM or the other?

never mind I found the RPM for my distro and it installed into the Mozilla plugin directory all I had to do was to copy the plugin into the netscape directory.
