After reading through quite a few of the posts here, I'm very close to clicking on the link to download the new version of StarOffice 6. My question is: "How stable is it?" Has anyone had any problems with it so far? Are there any negative things about it...besides the RAM usage?
The only reason I hesitate to download it is because it has that nice lovely little word attached to it..."BETA."
I'm running Mandrake 8.1 with kernel 2.4.3. Kernel 2.4.8 doesn't really work too well with my system for some reason or another.
Other noteworthy specs include:
384 MB RAM
333MHz AMD K6 Processor
I still have about 1.6 GB free on my Linux partition.
