I am trying to secure my linux box, and i am newbie. I have had linux for less than a week. I need to secure my system before i get connected to the internet(i think you all should agree with that). I want to know how to turn off the daemons i don't need running. I would appreciate it if someone would reply to this post. Thanks a bunch
