I used Ximian Red Carpet to download and install Opera. I can't find it in the little start menu, and I have no idea where it is. Can anybody tell me where to look? :D

And on the topic of browsers, when I try to install the latest Mozilla release I get an error reporting conflicts with Ximian.

Unable to complete RPM transaction:
file /usr/lib/libnspr4.so from install of mozilla-npsr-.1.0rc3-0 conflics with file from package libnspr4-0.9.5-ximian.1
file /usr/lib/libplc4.so from install of mozilla-npsr-.1.0rc3-0 conflics with file from package libnspr4-0.9.5-ximian.1
file /usr/lib/libplds4.so from install of mozilla-npsr-.1.0rc3-0 conflics with file from package libnspr4-0.9.5-ximian.1

Anyway around this?

Thanks! :)

Thats one of the downsides of using Red Carpet to install RPMs...Ximian likes to throw in their own packages for things making it difficult to update them with anything else.
You could always try to uninstall those ximain packages and install standard packages (hopefully this doesn't include removing several other packages).
I tried this once and gave up because it became too much of a hastel...

which opera or whereis opera should give you the path o the Opera binary. It'll look like this ..../bin/opera. If these commands don't return any results, you'll have to run updatedb as root. This can take a while to complete.
Then you can add it to the menu.

Do you have windows (Win98, win2K, winXP ...).
If you do, use windows to download Opera v6.01 for linux.
