Excite Chat for Linux

Is there an Excite Chat (formarly Virtual Places) for Linux? My dad said I could install Linux on his (highly superior (compared to my box)) computer if I could install Excite Chat on it.

If there isn't a client for Linux, could the Windoze one be emulated with WINE or the like?

Your best bet would be to dual boot, if you have enough drive space.
