Try dejanews and do a looksee. I use newsgroups all the time for information about any topic you can think of. There are excellent newsgroups pertaining to Linux. What mail program are you using? Regards, Dick DodgeTrucs 11-21-2000, 01:40 PM Speaking of newsgroups in Linux, I generally just surf them at www.deja.com, (http://www.deja.com,) but when I used Outlook Express it automatically knew my news servers and all the information, I have Road Runner Cable in the Central Florida area. Is there an easy way to gether the server information required by similar Linux news readers? Without calling the ISP? In a slightly related note, is there a program or utility in Linux that can give the information given in 'winipcfg' in Windows9X?
