Licq problems

I'm running Mandrake 8.0 and can't get licq to connect. I'm on a network (internet connection sharing) i can connect to the net etc. but icq won't...
How can i change the server in the preferences ?

There are some text files you can edit in ~/.licq that control what servers you connect to. Send email to icq@arcwebserv.com for a list of known servers.
