Ok folks here it is http://discussions.linuxplanet.com//smile.gif
I have an AHA1542cf that won't be recognized by my Madrake v6.0 Linux. I have looked all over the Net for any help that I may be able to find, I have found that the AHA1542cf is supposed to be supported by the kernel that I have, but it just won't recognize it. Can anyone plz help me. I have the controller set to IRQ12,DMA7,LUN7,IOADDRESS 234H. Under Winbloze it works just fine. I need this card so that I can use my UMAX S-6E scanner, which resides on the external port at LUN3. I have a Celeron 333, with an Aopen AX6BC motherboard, a soundblaster AWE 64, Aopen 8mb SiS 6326 AGP video, 3Com 3Cx900 Etherlink XL PCI network, and of course the AHA 1542cf. All of the other cards bootup and work fine, no problems no errors. Hopefully I have given you enough info to be able to give me a hand, which would be greatly appreciated, any help of any kind please, I need to have this working or else I will have to go back to Winbloze, which I ABSOLUTELY do not want to do.. http://discussions.linuxplanet.com//smile.gif
Thanks in advance
