ive searched the boards for topics on this and found some, but havnt been able to get it to work yet...
im installing gtk+ 1.2.8 so i can go and compile gaim and such.. but (like the others) i get the message that its finding glib 1.2.6. i installed glib 1.2.8 without difficulty by using the defaults.
im using caldera openlinux 2.4, and obviously im a linux newbie http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/wink.gif
