i just wanna know if redhat has a xkill button (the tareget like icon) like in mandrake? where it kills any app you want. im using redhat7.3. thanks

Nope, but there's nothing stopping you from adding it :) xkill, the program, is included by default, so if you want, just put a button to it on the desktop.

Hmmm..are you sure it's not already installed? Did you try running it from a terminal?

I'm about 99.44 % sure you have it installed. Open up a terminal and type "xkill" and see what happens. If nothing happens you'll have to install it, and it'll be on one of the installation cds.

I don't know if it's a KDE-specific feature, or a more generic X feature, but in SuSE running KDE if you CTRL-ALT-ESC the pointer turns into a skull-and-crossbones and whatever you click on is killed. If you change your mind, you can CTRL-ALT-ESC to toggle it back off.
