I have a mitsumi 4892 te burner and burning under xcdroast does something annoying. The few cd's that i have burned all work, but the track numbering messed up. For example, in the last cd I burnt, track 2 goes from -9:00 mins (yes, that is a minus sign) to 0:00 and contains tracks 2, 3 and 4. Does anyone have this problem? Any solutions?

Strange problem. Haven't a clue why this would happen.
Have you read all the xcdroast documentation included with the software? Should be in /usr/doc. Also maybe try using the commandline 'cdrecord' to burn the same CD and see if you still have the problem.

mdwatt: Sorry, I have a mitsumi 4802 TE burner. I tried the command line and it still didn't work. Anymore suggestions? It may help to know that the following message occurs right before recording
cdrecord: WARNING: Drive returns wrong startsec (0) using -150
Writing pregap for track 1 at -150
