Ok, I use apt-get to upgrade my gnome to the latest version, but now when I loge into boot my desktop is not there. The only way yo get around is through the command line. No icons, I can't creat them either. I looked around and saw that the folder containing and the icons for the root desktop WHERE still there..
When I log in as a user the upgrade went perfect with no problems though..
Any help?
