ELF file OS ABI not 0

When I run any of the utilities from the SSH suite, I get the following error:

ssh: error in loading shared libraries: libpam.so.0: ELF file OS ABI not 0

I've tried upgrading openssh, openssl and PAM to their newest versions. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas how to correct this ? Many thanks in advance, cain.

You can try reviewing the requirements and matching it up to what your GNU/Linux box has or is configured with, i.e. pam.
