Ok now... Don't laugh... You hear me? The app. called DrakConf is what I need... Lol. How does one run the little nasty thing? Does one do a command line which goes like /etc/drak.conf or what? Sad... I know http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/wink.gif So, if anyone feels like helping me out in, getting the app. started in the first place... go to a terminal window. type in drakconf. it should bring it up. i think. it's been a while since i used mandrake. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

"DrakConf" in a terminal. (without qoutes, case sesitive) If you try it as a user you will be prompted for the root password.

dude, if your using mandrake there should be an icon on the desktop for it? if not just do what everyone else said

Could it be that the file is not there? Searched for drak* in the system... and there was no conf. files... Going to check out the promt with case sensitive strokes though.
