SSL and Konqueror?

I just installed kde2 from rpms on RH6.2, and Konqueror say it is not linked to OpenSSL, so I can't access secure servers. Do I have to get OpenSSL and compile kde from source to use encryption or is there an easier way? If I do have to compile, does anyone know where I can get a copy of OpenSSL?

I'm not familiar with kde but most likely you will have to recompile your kde browser with the path to openssl directory,to get openssl visit www.openssl.org (http://www.openssl.org) .Hope this helps.
