What's going on guys? The other day at work we got our new server and I got to keep one of the old servers to play with. Anyway the server I got to play with is a Compaq 200MHz with three hard drives running RAID5. This server is going to dual boot NT 4.0 and Linux. So this morning I partitioned my RAID5 hard drives in half and loaded NT 4.0 first. Now I'm trying to load Linux on the other partition and it does not see the hard drives. I'm trying to install Slackware 7.1 and I'm using the SCSI.S boot disk.
At the command line after typing cat /proc/scsi/scsi it says Attaced devices: none. What could be the problem? Has anyone ever used Linux with RAID5 before? Please help. Thanks...
