Default Gateway

I'm trying to find the file on my RedHat, that lists the default gateway. I want to learn how do change it via config. file instead of command line. Please assist.

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 I think...

in RH 7 it is in /etc/sysconfig/network

if on your machine it is not in the above, check ph34r's post :-)
