After installing RH 7.1 with X4.0.3 I am getting some noticable screen flicker when moving in windows and such. I have an ATI Rage Fury Pro card, and a small 14 inch monitor. I've checked my refresh rates, and they're set at what they should be.
When I had slack 7.0 and X 4.1.0 on this same box, I didn't get this screen flicker. It's not completely disabling, as I can use the pc, its just small things (scrolling in a window, I get flicker at the bottom of the window, or top if I'm scrolling up)...
I'm also getting some areas in a window that just stay as a block of white. Most noticbly when I'm surfing the web in opera, I'm getting an area thats just a white block, and it stays there when refreshing the screen as well. Its not something in the website that failed to load (you can see text cut in half, and it will cut pictures in half (pics that I know are full pictures...))...
I've commented out all but one server option in my XF86Config file, the accel one, then I switched that to the svga server, and both are doing the same thing.
Any ideas ?
