Installing mkisofs prob

Hi, I am tryinbg to instal the latest version of xcdroast (0.98alpha9-1) and it say it needs at least mkisofs 1.10. I have downloaded mkisofs-1.14-1mdk.rpm but what i trie to install it usin rpm -i, i get the error, libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.3) is needed by mkisofs-1.14-1.

What is the problem here? There is the file /lib/libc.so.6. It it that it can't find this file or is it the wrong one? I am using Mandrake 8.0. Any suggestions?

Apparently mkisofs needs at least glibc version 2.2.3. According to distrowatch MD 8 comes with glibc 2.2.2 so you can either upgrade glibc or try and use a version of mkisofs (<1.14, >=1.10) and see if this works with glibc 2.2.2
