Hi Folks:
I'm having a hard time finding a site to d/l Wordperfect 8 for Linux.
Free or pay, where can I go to d/l?
As an aside, is anyone using either the standard or professional versions of Wordperfect 2000 for Linux? Any comments about the good, bad, or possible ugly, regarding the Office 2000 Suite would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Mike

Last I knew:
http://linux.corel.com/
Hello
It seems like it have disappeared. I didn't get it to work on 2.2.x or 2.4.x kernel systems, so incompability might be the reason they pulled it off.
I don't know...

I have two complete and used only once sets of WPOffice 2000 Deluxe that I would gladly sell you for pennies on the dollar as a curiosity/ collector's item only. They are OEM and in uncirculated condition, but as software they are virtually worthless. It is my duty as a former Corel Linux user to warn you against spending any money on any Corel Linux product. They have gone out of the Linux distribution/software business over a year ago for good reason. Why Linux retailers continue to promote these products is truly mystifying. I noticed that even Linuxnewbie has a favorable review hanging around somewhere from when their bogus OS came out in 1999

Holy Smokes, thanks for the warning. I guess it's back to Abiword or Star Office 5.2 -- if I can take the system bog-down. I wish there was an easy way to copy and paste text from a browser to a word processor in linux. I really don't like collecting tons of html pages. Well, thanks again. Your input was very helpful. Best regards. Mike
