1) I am going to be getting a new HD probably a 15 gig and was wanting to put all my mp3's there. I want it to be accessable from Win so I am going to make it a fat32 type. So I install the drive and format it with ME. Then I just add it to my fstab file and then copy my mp3's over right?

2) Which mozilla nightly build am I supposed to get? For that matter how do I find out which version I am using now? I tried mozilla --version and it tried to start it instead.

3) How do I get things I have installed from a .tar file to show in my meun for Debian?

4) Just discovered something annoying while writing this. I am using opera right now and I can't use the capital a.It moves the screen up and down instead. God how annoying.

If I need to split these questions up let me know and I will edit it and do that. Thanks in advance.

1.right, although you can also su and then 'mount /dev/hdb1 /whatever/directory -t vfat' (i think i read that this was recommended over fstab)...

2. try help/about mozilla - should give you the version number
version 9.1 seems to be highly praised...

3. depends on your window manager - which one you using?

You are adding an additional drive? If so, & windows will be the only os, yes you can add it to fstab and mount it, then access mp3's as if it were a directory on your machine. Of course you can do the same thing if windows only shares a partition on that drive with Linux.
