I have added a second HDD (30GB)to MY Athlon 600 running a Windons 98SE OS, and I used Disk Manager 2000 to install the new drive. Disk Manager gave three options which would all transfer my data from the original drive to the new one which I don't want as I hope to install a Linux Distro that will work well with VMWare 2.0 in a dual boot config with the existing OS drive.
The other option was install as slave drive which I did.I need full instructions please

You need full instructions for what?

Install the new hd as slave or install Linux?

If you want full instructions for installing Linux, then I would suggest you start out with the NHF's on installing or read the documentation that's included with any distros.

If you just downloaded the iso yourself, then read the documentation included on the cd.

If you bought a retail package, then you should have a user guide that will help with the install.

Either way, you can always use the online documentation that most distros have at their websites.
