does anyone use mandrake 7.2 and packages from cooker? it seems they allmost all depend on glibc 2.2 and now the src rpms seem to need rpm 4.0. How can I upgrade to Glib 2.2??
I tried the rpm but it says a **** load of apps on my box depend on the old one...do i force it? what do i do? Mandrake update supports cooker but what good is it if you can't use the packages...what do i do if i want to upgrade 7.2 to cooker completely? any info?

I'm having this same problem. If someone has an answer, let me know.

Maybe those apps that need the "old one" need to be updated also. When I installed MD/7.2 (about 1 month ago) I went to the updater and came up with 250megs of updates I could install, selected ALL. I have no problem using packages from Cooker.
