I need an good Programm to test a CPU and the RAM. I want to know if the hardware is OK. Does anyone know something??? :rolleyes:

i use a utility called tufftest .
it is shareware, but there is free version. it does not run on any OS, it has its own OS. I will also copy a big file from on place to another and do a MD5 sum on both to see to they checked out.

There is memtest86 I believe, and cpuburn is a burn-in type test to see how your CPU holds up (not just if it works). Check http://freshmeat.net for these.
