There is a .wav editor and multitrack sequencer called Acid 2.0 and Soundforge both made by sonic foundry, these are windows apps
unfourtunately dont run under linux, i was wondering if any of you are familiar with these audio tools and could help me find a Linux
alternative, as these are pretty much all thats tying me to windows these days.
I have installed Broadcast 2000 but it is more for audio/video tasks and not quite what i want, magicmix is more what i am
looking for but i need to install some libaries or something the rpm depends on so, i will try that when i can,
in the mean time any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried running them through Wine or VMWare? They might run.
