Hey, jsut got my SB16 working and now I've got sound in GNOME....but XMMS says it can't open audio...if I remember correctly I had it playing as root, but now in my user account it wont....ideas?

Try typing 'chmod 777 /dev/mixer', it will change the permissions on your mixer so that any user can open it.
