Is the ipchains automatically configured in this? Is security of some sort already built in or will I have to write a IPCHAINS script manually? This I don't want to do.
Also, I take it that the machine must have 2 NICs in it?

yes, two nics , mine has two isa 3com 3c509b cards
it already has the NAT and firewall stuff configured, you just add lines to a script to "open"/forward ports inside your firewall , if you need to , if you have no servers, it is all set
it is purty easy to use

If my memory serves me correctly, the IPCHAINS script is already setup, but it was basic. As far as security goes, it was ok although I'm no security guru. And for the last question, you do need 2 NICS.
On a side note, I had many problems with Coyote Linux, kernel panics and other odd crashes.
So maybe you'll have better luck than I had. ;)

Thanks, again I failed to read the obvious on his site. She's all setup--and old P-1 16 MB RAM machine. :)
