I'm able to sign on fine with AOL's software, but not with GAIM. Bills_a_bub 06-04-2001, 05:40 AM Nope, no problems at all using TOC. Derango 06-04-2001, 06:28 AM TOC works fine for me also. HarryGoiter 06-04-2001, 03:58 PM Well, I'm trying to use either TOC or OSCAR but I can't seem to logon. Actually, it does log on, but a split second after that, it disconnects me. What ports are you guys using? Thanks a mil Bills_a_bub 06-04-2001, 05:39 PM I'm using the "straight out of the box" settings. TOC host: toc.oscar.aol.com:9898 login host: toc.oscar.aol.com:5190 HTH. pwrhouse 06-04-2001, 09:02 PM Check the GAIM webpage for an updated version. I know that occasionally(sp?) they have to release a new version because AOL blocks them from using the AOL servers and they need to include a work around. Anyway first see if you have the newest one. HarryGoiter 06-05-2001, 09:40 PM Well, TOC seems to be working fine now, maybe I'm just an idiot. But OSCAR still logs me off as soon as it logs in. Wait, just checked the webpage again. Guess it took a while to get the update up but indeed AOL is blocking OSCAR again. Anybody know why OSCAR is so precious to AOL? Thanks justlinux.com
