Can anyone help me? I am trying to install ghdparm and I keep getting a dependency for libdb2.so.2, but I can't find it anywhere? What package is it a part of? I am running RHat 7.0 Kernel 2.2.19smp? Thanks for any help.

I don't know ghdparm, so I can only give you the standard linux answer. Go to www.rpmfind.net (http://www.rpmfind.net) and put the file name in the box, and see what it gives you. I cannot be sure it will work in your case, but generally this is what to do.

AFAIK, http://rpmfind.net/ is MUCH better than the www counterpart (have nothing to do with each other)

I'm also looking for this rather infamous library, it seems not to exist anywhere, I wanted to use mixmagic, I guess I won't be using it eh?

P.S. I already tried the link, it's not there either, it leaves me being forced to use Windows for my DJing needs since I can't get audacity to work either!

Are you sure that the dependency is for libdb2.so.2?

This (http://speakeasy.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/sourceforge/drivetweak/ghdparm-kde-0.1-rh7.i386.html) hit doesn't list that library as a requirement. Maybe you are trying to load a different version?
