Modem installation help

I have a US Robotics 56k performance pro modem. When i try and install it on the phh dialer it says there was no modem detected. HELP!

Sorry to say you might have a winmodem, i thought the us robotics modems were compatible with linux. If you try the site below it should give you some more info as to whether your modem is a winmodem or not.

Oh yeah its not a winmodem and it says it compable with linux on the box...
