named.conf?????? plzzzzzzz!!!

hi all,

linux(SuSE) server, connected to mac & 3 pc's.

anyone help with this one. What do I need to change in named.conf so that I can dial up to the internet with named turned on and it acts as a DNS for my masquaraded pc's??

it will dial up with 'named' off, but obviously I can't access the internet on the networked pc's. when I turn 'named' on wvdial says that the nameserver is not working.

any help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!

Maybe I'm not understanding what you want to do, but it seems to me you would be better served connecting the networked pcs to the net via a proxy server like squid rather than trying to set up your Suse box as a DNS server.
