okay it's like this. I can't get the football game I wanna watch on tv, so I log on to nfl.com to get the radio broadcast. Problem is, I need Realplayer.

`okay here's the real problem. Having a bi of a time with the flippin' bin file. Already did chmod and ./filename. but it's telling me that I can't execute the binfile, and it's driving me crazy.

I appreciate all timely help...since the game is in the 3rd quarter. =)

THANKS!

Try chmoding it to a+x (or 777) and try again. I hat this same problem when I used Red Hat 7.0. If it doesn't work all I can say is try looking for an RPM for it (www.rpmfind.net). Hope it works out for ya!

Why didn't you download the RPM instead? Just a thought...

Because I'm new to linux and am teaching my self as I go along...so it didn't occur to me to dl an RPM...whatever that is. =) Sorry...learning slowly.

Thanks for the advice and the site. =)
