right now, i'm running RH6.1, and am looking to upgrade my system's kernel. after checking with the redhat support site, i went ahead and downloaded the necessary rpms. however, everytime i try to confirm them by running

rpm -K --nopgp *rpm

it keeps telling me that they're not ok. i've tried downloading them several times from several sites, only to meet with the same error.

can anyone give me an idea as to what's happening here?

thanks.

Can't help you with the rpms, but maybe you should try getting the tar.gz files from kernel.org... atleast there is another option... :)

thanks...

i've got another question regarding kde. i want to upgrade to 2.1, but to do that, i've got to upgrade my qt. my problem is that that task is dependent on getting an rpm that has the libGL* files in it. any idea of what i need to look for?

thanks.
