Upgrading Libaries

When I run ./configure for XMMs 1.2.5 I get this error after a short space of time
checking for glib-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.2... no
*** The glib-config script installed by GLIB could not be found
*** If GLIB was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GLIB_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to glib-config.
configure: error: *** GLIB >= 1.2.2 not installed - please install first ***

It seems to be I need to upgrade GLIB, but I don't know how to do this
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

it might mean you need Glib-devel. Im not sure, but i had the similar error with SDL and XMMS. When i installed SDL-devel and xmms-devel, all was good. Check out rpmfind.net to fix your dependency
