Linux mandrake partition setup Question

i have two hard drives and i want to setup Mandrake on my slave drive. when im in the mandrake partition setup it asks me what to mount it as /boot /root etc which one should i select. Im new to partitioning. And linux. if you could shed some lite on this for me id appreciate it thanx
