Hello,

I found this KOrganizer , and it's very handy , but could anybody tell me, how could I start it automatically with KDE , but so I won't see a window, only KOrganizer Alarm Monitor will start ?

thanks.

p.s. or maybe u know any other good organizers with alarms ? :)

You didn't say which version of KDE your using, so I'll assume KDE2.1.

Try creating a kdelink for KOrganizer in /opt/kde2/share/autostart.

That's were I put Gkrellm to startup automatically.

yeah , I could do that , but it will start that whole Organizer , and I have to close it myself ... is there anyway to start only that "Alarm" ... maybe it's just different program ?

thanks.

The alarm is called 'alarmd'. You can probably just put a link to that in the autostart directory.

Sorry as I misread your question.

I thought you meant that what you have tried only has the alarm starting.
